YARD SALE

Each year we try to have a yard sale. All participants conduct their own sale on their own property on the date chosen, and the GFCA publishes the event in the local papers. Our next yard sale date is planned for Saturday May 5, 2012 from 8-3pm.

On Saturday July 14th, Glen Farms/Tara residents are invited to gather at the Brinton Park tennis courts for an ice cream social. What a great way to meet our neighbors, refresh old or establishing new acquaintance. Rain date 7/21.

FISHING DERBY

Every year a Fishing Derby is held. Prizes are awarded for the shortest, longest and most caught in the following age groups 3-6, 7-10 and 11 & over. Bring your Rod, your bait and your luck hat. Fun and prizes for all. We are going to hold it this year on Saturday June 16th. More details to follow. Rain date 6/23rd.

Earth Day/Community Clean Up: Glen Farms Civic Association will once again celebrate Earth Day on Saturday April 14th by picking up the trash along Little Egypt Road, clearing brush from Lake George and perhaps planting some flowers. If you are interested in helping out, contact Kim Silva 410-620-9499. You should be prepared to pick up refuse, and should wear working clothes and bring gloves to protect your hands. Additional information will follow as the date draws closer.
